OUR STORY

The Delta Effect is present in all our lives. 

From the origins of Delta in ancient Greek writing, to its use in engineering, finance and neuroscience to name a few; its effect is all around us.

It flows in waves and frequencies, none more so present than in music. 

Here, The Delta Effect takes the form of a musical project from Castleford in West Yorkshire.

It is a re-awakening of their original music written in the 1990's and brought into the 21st century by Phil and Alex Wardle.

 

The first album, 'Questions for the big answers' will be available to stream on all mainstream platforms from 1st November 2025, or you can download it here.  It is a blend of melodic guitar and keyboard riffs driven by a pulsating backbeat of intricate drumming.  Lyrically it takes us through the ups and downs of relationships, our place and time in the universe and our own personal relationship with the divine. We often credit our most revered institutions for claiming to have answers to the big questions, when the reality is just the opposite.
