Blame it on me

Blame it on me is the final track on the album 'Questions for the big answers.'

It deals with all the troubles of the world and one persons desire to say 'You can blame it on me' providing it takes all those troubles away and makes the world a better place.

The average man/woman in the street, no matter where, just wants to live a happy life, but life gets in the way. The institutions that have dominated societies for millennia dictate that it is a dog eat dog world. Survival of the fittest. Those that don't make the grade get left behind.

There is rebellion against established order that we are supposed to be appalled at, yet there is corruption within the established order that we are expected not to question because these are figures of wealth, authority and standing.

There is extreme wealth running alongside extreme poverty Political scandal, cover ups and so on whilst some one ends up in front of a magistrate for having 12 points on their driving licence.

We have beauty queens standing for world peace whilst wars rage on for territorial, resource and religious gain. Where is the justice?

What if you could carry the weight of the world on your shoulders in the interests of peace and shared wealth for humanity? Would you do it? Would you take the blame for humanity and what do you think would happen if you did?

History tells us they'd probably crucify you.
